For just under a tenner, you can see ‘Bristols finest jungle selecta‘ in Toby Ross, alongside a whole host of excellent DJs in one of the biggest D&B nights in Wales this weekend.

Saturday 1st June Top Pick – Group listening @ CARNEDD

What venue are they playing?

CARNEDD, Ty Wilcox, Dunleavy Drive, Cardiff, CF11 0BA

How much is it?

The most expensive gig on this list at £12.35, Group Listening are definitely worth your support. Working together for over a decade, Paul Jones and Stephen Black create ‘gently psychedelic’ music, that is teamed by a brilliant visual performance (often in the form of elaborate papier-mâché hats) to produce an experience that should not be missed.

Supported by ‘soundscape surgeon’ Ancient Plastix, the gig promises to be great for those into more alternative music

The Louisiana, Bristol BS1 6UA

How much is it?

A mere £6 will allow you to see a trio of rockers, headlined by the brilliant Allium!.

The Bristol based Allium! are a four piece alternative rock band who will delight you with reverbed, distorted guitar riffs from Tom Sheppard, blended with the powerful, energising lyrics of vocalist Maya MacCallum

Heavily inspired by their 90’s/2000’s upbringing, the band are an eclectic mix of indie, grunge and punk. Forming only 2 years ago, you wouldn’t be able to tell they were inexperienced, as they regularly leave their fans thrilled with their engaging performances.
