Rachel Sermanni’s folky sound is perfect for lovers of gentle acoustic songs that make you think. Her Scottish accent comes through in her authentic tunes and Feedback recommends her top tracks Everything Changes and Jacob. This gig costs £16.95 and doors will open at 6:30pm.
Rachel has an EP coming out in July and is yet to announce more dates around the UK. Rachel released her debut album in 2012 and toured with some of the biggest folk artists, namely Mumford and Sons.

Brothers Joseph and David Dunwell make up half of the Leeds band formed in 2009. Having released three singles in 2024 as well as a live track of Best Life originally released in 2023 and cover of the Bruce Springsteen hit Dancing in the Dark, The Dunwells will play in Glasgow for £18. Doors open at 7pm.
With five albums out, the four piece group have a vast discography to choose from. For lovers of indie / folk music, The Dunwells’ acoustic sound could be the gig for you this weekend.

Sunday 2 June Top Pick – System Exclusive @ Sneaky Pete’s Edinburgh

How much is it?
The synth-pop duo are nearing the end of their UK tour and Scotland is the final leg. Originally from Pasadena, California, their sound is reminiscent of 80s’ synth rock hits and they are well worth a watch while they are in the area. System Exclusive are also a couple and have travelled Europe together playing shows. If you like Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Sparks, listening to System Exclusive cold be a thoroughly sentimental experience. Tickets are just £11.50.
