If you missed out on Glastonbury this year, don’t spend your summer sulking, try these festivals instead! Feedback have curated a list of some of the biggest, but also the best, festivals in the UK to attend.
Latitude Festival
Nestled in Henham Park, Suffolk you can find Latitude Festival. Headlined by Duran Duran, Kasabian, Keane, and London Grammar, they have some top musicians for you to enjoy. Tickets are £308, which is pricey, but it is one of the best festivals about. There is plenty to love about the up and coming scene with trailer park stage holding great indie group Adult Cat, alongside electro trio YARD. You can also find Rapper EV at The Alcove stage.
Tramlines Festival
If Glastonbury was too quick for you, you can always head to Hillsborough, Sheffield to catch a vibe at Tramlines. For £140 you get a fantastic selection of artists ranging from Paolo Nutini and Snow Patrol as headliners to Nieve Ella and Dylan Thomas Jones in the aspiring scene. They also holding an EDM scene with The Speakers with Slambarz stage with the likes of Dynamic Dance CIC and Keasha.
Black Deer Festival
For the country and bluegrass lover. Black Deer in Eridge, Kent, offers all a weekend (14th-16th June) of all things Americana. Artisanal and hand-made goods, classic choppers for the petrol head and a laidback environment. Headliners include country legend Sheryl Crow and Classic favourites such as Seasick Steve (yes his still going strong). With a great selection of smaller artists, we would recommend the band Divorce, who have great mix of country, pop and indie tunes that will make you feel like your on ranch in deep south. Weekend camping tickets start at £240 pp with day tickets available.
Truck Festival
Truck Fest has always been against main stream commercial acts and has grown and grown with that ethos in mind. Running from 26th – 28th in Hill Farm, Oxfordshire, big indie names like Wetleg and The Streets share the main Truck Stage with acts like NewDad and Coach Party, but it won’t be hard to find whatever you like with six different stages, all offering exciting and new talent. Tickets start at £150 (which is the bargain of the century considering the line up) for the Weekend, but it might be worth getting there on Thursday to see IDLES.
Boardmasters Festival
Finally, Boardmasters is always a shout. Who doesn’t want to enjoy a festival on a beach? From £279 with travel included, it is a great deal. Our picks include Bilk, Saff Juno and Electric Spank if you seek a good time. You can also catch Stormzy, Sam Fender, and Chase and Status as headliners.
